Las apariencias engañan: Frida Kahlo’s dresses

 This is the first exhibition held in wardrobe artist in the Casa Azul. The main idea of this exhibition is to explore the identity of Frida, expressed through powerful visual image that he built with his clothes. Similarly, Las apariencias engañan: Frida Kahlo's dresses want to reflect the way in which Frida, through the use of Mexican textiles, influences the design scene and contemporary fashion.
The exhibition was curated by Circe Henestrosa and conceptualized by the prominent British architect and designer, Dr. Judith Clark, academic and researcher at the London College of Fashion. Henestrosa and Clark exhibit their work together for the first time in Mexico. Source: Museo Frida Kahlo
